This quote adorns the wall when you enter our offices. For many who visit, it’s an interesting visual. For some, it’s a point of interest that makes them pause and think. But for those of us who work at People Science, it’s a philosophy that guides our work every day.
But what does it mean and how does it play into our everyday work? For us, it’s a reminder to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
At People Science, we use best practices that have been developed over 20+ years in the RPO business to not only fill our clients’ open positions, but to determine where the best candidates come from, the reasons they do or don’t want to work for the company, and many other integral pieces of information.
There is a plethora of useful information that is gathered during the hiring process, but much of it could not be recorded is available ATSs. Therefore, the information could not be used to improve the hiring process. So, People Science looked at the applicant tracking systems available and then took a step back.
