Time to give thanks………

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I decided to take a step back and think about what I am thankful about at work.  Throughout the year we can get so laser focused on deadlines and the rush of impending projects that we often don’t take the time necessary to do so, so let’s get started…… [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][optinlocker]

My team members – Being included in a very collaborative, smart and fun group to work with makes my job that much more fun.  If you’re spending 40+ hours with people every week – it’s a good thing to appreciate their company!  We share ideas, help each other out, and provide comic relief when needed.  I can truly say my team rocks – and couldn’t thank them more for that.

Variety in my work – When you’re working in an RPO environment, no two days are ever the same.  New clients and a variety of projects to mix up the year help to create a challenging environment that never gets stale.  I think my ever changing role and list of things to do is really one of the things I enjoy the most about my job.  Here’s to more of those challenges to keep things interesting in 2018!

Continuing to learn – Along with the different clients and projects I’ve worked on this year, my knowledge base has grown considerably.  I’ve traveled to different parts of the country, met brilliant people, and understood Talent Acquisition a different light every step of the way.

Modern technology – I don’t say thank you enough, but I’d be lost at work without IT!  The technology I have available at my fingertips every day makes my job so much smoother and efficient.  From being able to look up a new idea on the internet, to pulling reporting in a blink of an eye – I’m not sure how I would be able to get my job done without all of it.

All of these things make work that much more satisfying and enjoyable….and with that each year gets better and better.  Here’s to more of the same to be thankful for in the year to come.
